Just start writing
I recently removed a couple of furniture pieces in my tiny apartment. I also moved some of the other stuff around.
The reason is that I wanted to make a permanent space for my yoga mat. That way, I can easily get going right away. No excuses not to do it.
Before, I had to move stuff around and then bring out the yoga mat before I could start the workout. The result: hard to start, easy to skip.
I use the same philosophy for writing. The editor is only a click away, no matter the device. No preparations needed, no firing up this and then creating that, no switching between four apps to write one sentence.
No friction. Just start.
